George Epperly bought 160 acres in 1946 planning fifty houses; by 1948 there were 582 and he had built three quarters of them. Named for his eldest daughter, Delaphene. It reached its maximum physical size by 1964 and has not grown since, so essentially the entire housing stock is 1946 to 1964.
