Four things worth including
None are required. They are the ones that turn a vague answer into a specific one, and they are what a site visit would establish anyway.

- Roughly what and roughly how big. A counter run in feet, or a patio in paces. Two numbers is enough to start.

They will get you to the right order of magnitude and show you which decisions move the number. They will not price your access, your ground or where your gas meter happens to sit, which is what a site visit is for.

Can you tell me whether my project needs a permit?
In general terms, yes, and the permits page sets out what Edmond publishes. For a determination on a specific property only the department with jurisdiction can answer, and what it says governs regardless of anything on this site. Where your address sits is the first thing we check, because it decides everything else.
