What the figures on this site mean, what they do not mean, and the limits of what a website can tell you about your own property.
Cost figures are planning ranges
Every dollar figure on this site, including every figure produced by the calculators, is a planning range for the Oklahoma City metro market. None is a quotation, an offer, or a commitment to perform work at that price. A quotation follows a site visit.
Sending the form creates no agreement
Submitting the estimate form is a request for information. It does not create a contract, commit you to anything, or oblige anyone to perform work.
Code and permit information is general
Permit, code and licensing statements on this site are general guidance drawn from published documents and are not a determination for any particular property. The City of Edmond Department of Building and Safety, and the building department of each community listed here, are the authorities having jurisdiction, and what they decide governs. Ordinances and adopted codes are amended; check the current position before relying on anything here.
No permit fees are published
This site deliberately publishes no permit fee amount for any authority, because no current schedule could be verified. Contact the department with jurisdiction for the figure that applies today.
Licensing
Oklahoma does not require a state licence for general contracting. The Oklahoma Construction Industries Board licenses electrical, plumbing, mechanical and roofing work, and the City of Edmond separately requires a general building contractor’s licence for permit submittal. This site publishes no licence number and makes no claim to hold one. Ask any contractor, including us, to evidence theirs before work begins.

Photographs on this site are licensed stock images used to illustrate the type of structure under discussion. None is presented as a project located in Edmond or any named community, and no claim is made about who built them.
Limitation
This site is provided as it is, without warranty. Decisions about construction, budget and contracting are yours, and are properly made with a contractor who has seen the property and the building department that has jurisdiction over it.
